Private flotilla for SDYC female members and their friends.

Eight glorious nights of island splendor, with fun flotilla shenanigans and camaraderie.

There are three 50' luxury catamarans reserved to date, and more will be added as needed up until the end of October.

The captains will be very experienced, fun female captains who love to empower and keep you safe while having the best vacation possible.

May 18-25, 2024 YOGA/WIND COMBO RETREAT - SOLD OUT

Once again I'll be teaming up with Kelley Gardner to run a Wind Goddess Retreat with yoga practice everyday.

Our retreat will take place on a luxurious 50' Moorings catamaran, sailing amidst the breathtaking beauty of Belize's stunning islands, with awe-inspiring landscapes all around. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just beginning your practice, the classes cater to all levels, allowing you to deepen your connection with mind, body, and spirit while being gently guided by the ocean breeze.

Each day brings a new adventure. Snorkel through vibrant coral gardens, swim with tropical marine life, or simply relax on pristine white sand beaches. The islands of Belize are rich in history and tradition. Visit the charming island villages, and taste regional dishes that blend Mayan, Caribbean and international influences.

With breathtaking sunsets painting the sky, starry nights on the top deck, and the gentle sway of the sea rocking you to sleep, this Wind Goddess Retreat promises an experience like no other. Wind Godddess Retreats mostly focuses on taking women on large catamarans (47-52') and cruising in the best locations on the planet. However, taking couples is also fun. Croatia will once again be our couples and friends (you don't have to be in a relationship) destination.

We will start our journey in the beautiful and enchanting town of Trogir, at the Marina Baotic, very close to the Split airport. We'll island hop to Solta, Hvar, Brac, Vis and Korcula. Our plans will include serene anchorages as well as tying up on the village quays in the historical and fun waterside towns.

The water is beautiful and inviting on a hot day, yet not exactly warm. That said, it's not as much about the water as it is about the history and seaside villages that take your breath away. And the best way to see them is to visit by boat!

The website, and in particular the FAQ's page is currently dedicated to cruising in the BVI's so please contact me if you are interested in cruising in Croatia and I'll send you more information. Ask anything - we did this last year and learned a lot.

Planning ahead?

There will be "open" retreats where you can rent a cabin for yourself or share the cost of the cabin with a friend. In this scenario you will make new friends on the adventure of a lifetime!

And...you also have the option of filling the whole boat with your own friends, and friends of friends!

Once the word gets out, they will be begging you to be included. So choose wisely. :-)

Typically the yachts can host 10 guests.

I've been sailing, chartering, and racing in the BVI's since the 80's, and know these islands like the back of my hands, including the little tricks of where and when to go to each island,

and what each island's specialties are, so you don't have to research or think about it.

Even if you've been there before, there's a very good chance I'll show you something new.

Wind Goddess Retreats focuses on having maximum fun, with daily island hopping, snorkeling and swimming, sharing your stories with friends new and old, refreshing yourself in mind body and spirit, feeling empowered and strong, playing games, eating delicious meals, laughing, dancing, and feeling safe while sailing through paradise on a beautiful large catamaran.

You don't need to be a sailor to enjoy this vacation. But if you want to learn and be hands on, that is always an option. I've taught sailing my whole life and especially love to teach women, so do my other female captains. Catamarans are the best for stability and room to move. There are multiple layers onboard so it's easy to find space when you want it. From having meals onboard to sunbathing, grabbing snorkel gear or running inside for that thing you forgot, it's easy. Add to that that there is no rolling at night which is common on monohulls, and you can place a glass of water on the table and not worry about it falling over. Seasickness is extremely rare. Monohulls are wonderful, but when you want to go cruising nothing beats a cat.

We will island hop around Tortola, the largest island in the British Virgin Island chain, visiting places like the famous Soggy Dollar Bar and Foxy's on Jost Van Dyke. We'll check out the uninhabited island Sandy Cay (AKA Annie's Isle), anchor off the sweet picturesque Sandy Spit, snorkel off The Dogs or Monkey Point, have fine dining at the newly refurbished Saba Rock, go to the Bitter End Yacht Club, hike and swim at the world famous Baths, snorkel and play on Cooper Island, shop at the Pirates Bight at Norman Island, snorkel on the Indians that is teaming with tropical fish, and finish back where we started in Road Town. There will be plenty of shopping opportunites on the way for clothing and jewelry so you don't need to pack much. Whether you are a sailor or not, this will be a sailing adventure in paradise that will take your breath away.

The beauty that surrounds these islands is phenomenal.

And that's why they call it Nature's Little Secret.
